Introduction to e-accessibility basics


Accessibility is a measure of the extent to which a product or service can be used by a person with a disability as effectively as it can be used by a person without that disability.  The following sections provide an overview of accessibility and the purpose of ICTs and some basic accessibility principles.  

The section on Standards and Guidelines deals with the provisions under the UN Conventions on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities around hte use, development nad promotion of standards and guidelines by State Parties.
